07 Nov Homes North partners with Tamworth Regional Council delivering 66 mould kits to homes in West Tamworth

Last week, Homes North partnered with Tamworth Regional Council for a fantastic community outreach initiative in West Tamworth.

Homes North team members, Lute Tauheluhelu and Caitlyn Butler, joined Karen Porter from the Council, hitting the streets to door-knock, chat with tenants, and distribute mould kits. Together, they handed out 66 of 75 kits, helping tenants take early action to prevent mould and keep their homes healthy and safe.

Each kit included:

• 2L bottle of vinegar
• gloves
• spray bottle
• 2 microfibre cloths
• scrubbing brush
• face mask
• Homes North mould fact sheet
• Tamworth Regional Council instruction sheet.

Homes North tenants were genuinely appreciative of the information and support – a wonderful reminder of what we can achieve through collaboration and care for our community.

Karen thanked Lute and Caitlyn for their help, saying that their dedication and teamwork made the initiative a success.
