07 Dec Breanna Johns Nominated for Rising Star Award
Homes North’s Operations Support Officer, Breanna Johns, was nominated for the prestigious Rising Star Award at the PowerHousing Australia Member Exchange Conference held in Canberra last week. Key criteria for nomination is for an individual who has exhibited initiative, creativity, proactivity and innovative behaviour beyond their current role, working inclusively with the broader organisation and community.
Breanna has consistently demonstrated outstanding dedication, creativity, proactivity and passion in her work. She commenced with Homes North as a Trainee before moving into the Tenancy team as a Client Relations Officer (Administration) and then to a Client Relations Officer role. In recent months, Breanna joined the Operations team as Operations Support Officer.
Breanna has always been dedicated to her work and is proactively involved in a number of additional areas outside of her day-to-day role, including our Reconciliation Action Plan Committee, Pet Committee, Policy & Compliance Committee, Tamworth Domestic and Family Violence Committee, as well as a number of working groups and within a number of projects such as the Safety Culture App Implementation Group, SIS Aboriginal Advisory Group and Cadet Mentoring. Breanna is passionate about Homes North making a difference in our communities and is often the first to put her hand up to be involved. Her positive attitude, and relentless commitment to excellence have not only inspired us but have also significantly contributed to Homes North’s successes.
Breanna attended the PowerHousing Conference and Awards Night in Canberra last week and she said, “I had an amazing experience…creating a whole new networking group beyond Homes North”. Breanna’s nomination is a testament to her hard work and the incredible impact she has made within Homes North. We couldn’t be prouder to have her on our team.
